Paid Collaboration with Vilvah
I used to love silicone serums during the starting phase of my curly hair journey. Ever since progressing and learning about my hair more, I’ve moved on from serums. More so because my hair does better without silicones and it is next to impossible to find a serum without silicones. That’s when I heard about the new launch – Vilvah Anti Frizz Hair Serum.
Description by Vilvah:
Vilvah Hair Serum is infused with nourishing black seed and curry leaf oil to breathe life into your dry and frizzy hair. Formulated with the luxurious plant oil of hibiscus and arnica to impart intense smoothness, shine, UV protection; Heat protection that lasts for an entire day. It also helps to delay color fading and reduce damage.
Price: Around 750 INR for 30 ml. You can buy it here.

Vilvah Anti Frizz Hair Serum Checklist
- CG Friendly: Yes
- Protein Free: Yes
- Humectant free: No
- Texture: Light and watery
- Fragrance: Can’t put my finger around what the smell is, but it is a bit strong and medicinal. Thankfully it doesn’t linger and fades away after some time.
- Performance: I was expecting it to be a thick oily product but it is so lightweight! It didn’t weigh down my hair at all (my hair gets weighed down easily) and imparted shine.
Since this is a bit different from the usual curly products we use, I have listed down 3 ways to use Vilvah Anti-Frizz Hair Serum –
- As a shine serum on wash day
- As a shine serum on refresh day
- Refresh like you normally would
- As the last step, pump 5-10 sprays of the serum onto your palms and smooth onto hair canopy and ends
- To scrunch out the crunch and fluff roots
- Pump 5-10 sprays of the serum onto your palms and scrunch out the crunch
- With whatever serum remains, fluff your roots for volume.
In short: Vilvah Anti Frizz Hair Serum is a good hair serum for those looking for a little more added shine to their curls.
