Revlon RV544PKF 1875W Tourmaline Ionic Ceramic Diffuser Review

In my post about diffusing curly hair, I had mentioned that I had purchased the Revlon RV544PKF 1875W Tourmaline Ionic Ceramic Diffuser. Here’s a complete review on the dryer and the diffuser attachment.

The plug will not fit an Indian socket and you will need an International plug as this is an American product shipped directly from the USA. But Revlon RV544PKF 1875W Tourmaline Ionic Ceramic Diffuser is one of the cheapest products in the good diffuser category.

+ It’s very lightweight

+ The diffuser attachment is shaped perfectly with quality fingers that diffuse air well.

+ Dries hair fast. Even with the cool setting my hair dries in about 20-30 minutes (at least 80%).

+ Imparts good volume, body and bounce to curls (and is the main reason I use diffusers).

+ The silver sleek body is quite pretty 🙂

– There are only 2 heat and speed settings. Most dryers have 3.

– It’s not very quiet.

– The high wattage may not be suitable for fine hair. Even in the lowest heat setting, if you keep it close to your scalp for a long time, your scalp burns. That is why it is important to keep rotating between sections of hair.

– It is not compact enough for travel.

Overall I love this product. My curls are enhanced, bouncier and very voluminous after using the Revlon RV544PKF 1875W Tourmaline Ionic Ceramic Diffuser.
