Readers’ Diary includes some of my beautiful readers who’ve had a curly hair transformation after following the Curly Hair Routine. A whole section dedicated to my readers.
So here’s a big shoutout to all my lovely readers – I would love it if you can share photos of your curly hair’s before & after, how the blog has helped you and a paragraph about your routine and products. Send them to info@curlsandbeautydiary.com
“I always thought I had wavy hair. It used to form weird patterns and there wasn’t a day I would feel good about my hair. And like most of the curly girls out there I would comb it 5 times a day. I would try out different hair tools thinking at least something could work for me. It was so bad in my school days that I always had a short hair cut as my hair had become dry after straightening and I had loads and loads of hair fall after having dengue twice in 2 years leaving me even irritated with my hair. I came across Anjana Di’s post in 2016. And I said to myself lol I can never have gorgeous hair like that and she must spend so much money and time on her routine. Well I was wrong about the money part but hell yeah curly hair needs pampering but the results are very satisfying trust me. My hair felt curly and better after using some of her tips in my routine and people already starting complementing me a lot. But the best was yet to as I started following her routine completely now and it was legit the best decision of my life. There was volume, definition and shine(I craved for it). And I am so happy that I can refer my curly hair friends to check out your blog as they are shocked after my transformation (they actually think I got a treatment 😂😂)
My curly hair routine:
- I do a hot oil massage once a week using olive oil with a few drops of ylang-ylang oil(helps in relaxing).
- I wash my hair twice a week with the tresemme botanique shampoo. If I feel my hair is dry I just use my diy reetha and shikhakai shampoo
- I use tresemme botanique conditioner for conditioning my hair and use it as a leave in too
- I then use the pantene oil replacement cream and finally apply a good amount of homemade aloe vera and flaxseed gel.
- I then scrunch my hair lightly using a t-shirt and let it air dry.”

This is exactly my hair type 😮 can you seriously go from wavy almost straight to mega curls without actually curling it???

Depends on what your own natural hair type is Alexis. Sometimes a curlier pattern gets revealed with the right care.
