Curls and Beauty Diary reader testimonial

Readers’ Diary includes some of my beautiful readers who’ve had a curly hair transformation after following the Curly Hair Routine. A whole section dedicated to my readers.

So here’s a big shoutout to all my lovely readers – I would love it if you can share photos of your curly hair’s before & after, how the blog has helped you and a paragraph about your routine and products. Send them to info@curlsandbeautydiary.com

“Wow! So firstly, hope you guys are having a brilliant year so far. I’m Natasha, I have had naturally curly hair right from the time I was a kid. But my curls always lasted only till the end of wash day. 😛 Yes, for years I thought combing my curly hair would somehow make it healthy. I was so wrong!

Just a few months ago I discovered all about curly hair care and that I had been doing it wrong all along. The wrong shampoos, straightening, combing it often, yeah we’ve all been there I’m sure! I follow various vloggers on YouTube but most of the time the products they use are not available in India. That was when I came across “Curls and Beauty Diary” and boy was I thrilled to see an Indian Curly girl blogger! Thanks a lot Anjana I discovered a lot about curly hair care products available in the Indian market through your page!

So since I’m new to this, my curly hair routine is rather simple and could help anyone who is new to curly hair care.

Shampoo – I’m currently using Lovea Coco Paradise Shampoo – Dry & Damaged Hair. I must say this works wonderfully for me! It smells amazing and holds my curls perfectly and adds natural shine. Its an all natural shampoo with no sulphates and silicones.

Conditioner – The conditioners I alternate between are Soul Tree Hibiscus Hair Conditioner with no silicones and Organix Coconut Curls Curling Hair Butter, which is both a deep conditioner as well as a leave in. I tend not to condition my hair with every wash, but rather I deep condition every 2 to 3 weeks.

Leave Ins – My leave in conditioners are the Organix Coconut Curls Curling Hair Butter (again), or the BBLUNT High Definition Curl, Curl Defining Leave-in Cream for occasions. On regular wash days I prefer to use Aloe Vera gel as a leave in as its all natural and sets my curls really well. I scrunch these in. Scrunching is extremely important to get your curls set.

Oils – I’m a huge coconut oil fan! I think coconut oil is the best for curly hair! I have made my own hair oil by using coconut oil as the base and infusing the benefits of Hibiscus flowers, Aloe Vera, Curry Leaf and a few other ingredients into it. You can make your own by bringing all these elements to a boil in coconut oil. I always ensure to heat the oil a bit before applying it to my scalp and ends and keep it on for nothing less than 2 hours or sometimes, overnight. I oil my hair once a week – Oils and curly hair – Benefits, types and ways to apply

That’s it! I really hope my simple routine would help someone discover and embrace the beauty of their curly locks like I have!”
