Readers’ Diary includes some of my beautiful readers who’ve had a curly hair transformation after following the Curly Hair Routine. A whole section dedicated to my readers.
So here’s a big shoutout to all my lovely readers – I would love it if you can share photos of your curly hair’s before & after, how the blog has helped you and a paragraph about your routine and products. Send them to info@curlsandbeautydiary.com.
“After years of straightening my hair I decided to go all natural. I was browsing Instagram for tips on how to manage my unruly hair until I stumbled across Anjana’s profile and which eventually led me to her blog. The blog is so informative on how to take care of your hair. It has taught me what I should/shouldn’t be doing and what products to use/not use. Now my curls look much more healthier and defined. This blog has inspired me to go all natural and ditch my straightener completely.
*Products used*
Cantu Sulfate-free Hydrating Cream Conditioner
Bounce Curl Light Cream Gel
*Routine*
I shampoo and condition like this – How to wash & condition curly hair
I then apply my curl cream in sections to make sure product is distributed evenly (hair should be really wet when applying products to reduce frizz) followed by my gel – also done by sectioning my hair.
I then clump my hair – this give me thicker strands and reduces frizz. Once clumping is done I scrunch my hair normally and then I scrunch it with a microfiber towel.
And finally I diffuse my hair until 100% dry and smooth my hair with gel.”

I love the hair transformation. I get very thin curls but need thicker curls like yours Anjana and Leyyah, so can you please describe in detail as how to clump the hair together and how to make the curls look big and baeutiful.

I will do a post on this in detail soon; but for starters – Hair should be dripping wet when applying products, leave some conditioner in, squish to condish
