Readers’ Diary includes some of my beautiful readers who’ve had a curly hair transformation after following the Curly Hair Routine. A whole section dedicated to my readers.

So here’s a big shoutout to all my lovely readers – I would love it if you can share photos of your curly hair’s before & after, how the blog has helped you and a paragraph about your routine and products. Send them to info@curlsandbeautydiary.com.

“Well how do I begin to thank Anjana! This girl and her beautiful blog changed my life… Err… my Hair’s life 😉

Like she always mentioned in her posts, I belonged to the major crowd who never had an idea how to take care of frizzy, unruly hair a.k.a Hidden curls. I kept combing hoping that one day my hair will magically appear straighter. Tried shampoos, serums and what not. And committed the biggest crime of my life, Permanent straightening – all that money, products, hair loss; Definitely not worth the try.

And then one fine day I see this post by Anjana! And God! How can I ever thank her! I kept following her blog and I learned so much from all the details she generously shared. Haircuts, Products, Techniques etc.

Here is my curly hair routine:

  1. Shampoo – I shampoo every other day with either Head and Shoulders Scalp care or L’Oreal Professionnel Absolut Repair Lipidium Shampoo.
  1. Condition – I always make sure to condition my hair after shampooing. Some of my favorite conditioners are Suave Shea butter and Almond conditioner, L’Oreal Professionnel Absolut Repair Lipidium Masque, Dove Conditioners, few L’Oréal conditioners.
  1. Apply serum/curl product – After conditioning, I apply a good moisture sealing product all over my hair and scrunch. And then I wrap my hair in an old cotton t-shirt. After half an hour I remove the tee and let my hair air dry. And that’s it. By the time I reach office my hair would be partially dry with well-defined curls. I am currently using Garnier Fructis Curl Nourish Butter Cream. My absolute favorite! Leaves my hair super soft with well-defined curls. Another one I love is L’Oréal Techni art spiral splendor curl cream. Leaves a slight crunchy feel to the hair (which you can scrunch out) but gives super defined curls!
  1. I never comb my hair – Why you shouldn’t brush or comb curly hair after it is dry

Before, I didn’t even know the difference between good curls and the bad ones. My hair did take some time to adjust to the routine but I have fallen in love with my curls now! People still don’t believe that my hair is naturally curly :D”
