Readers’ Diary includes some of my beautiful readers who’ve had a curly hair transformation after following the Curly Hair Routine. A whole section dedicated to my readers.
So here’s a big shoutout to all my lovely readers – I would love it if you can share photos of your curly hair’s before & after, how the blog has helped you and a paragraph about your routine and products. Send them to info@curlsandbeautydiary.com
“I was always in love with the curly hairs but was unaware that my hair too can look beautiful and frizz free until the day one of your friends told me about your blog. I was absolutely astounded by your blog and the research you have done. It takes a lot of greatness to share the secrets you learn on a public platform and I appreciate you for doing that. And thanks for answering my doubts patiently.
My curly hair journey is still at its infancy as I started it only three months back 🙂 I hope to see my curls more beautiful in future.
- Pre-poo: I oil my hair with home made medicated coconut oil plus castor oil or Kaytra Hair oil .
- Shampoo: I use OGX Coconut Milk Shampoo. This shampoo doesn’t make my hair too dry when compared to others.
- Conditioner: Oriflame Nature Secrets Conditioner . I detangle with conditioner and then I generally follow Squish to Condish (In the given picture I have raked in the products).
- I do the styling mostly in shower itself. I use either Kaytra Revitalizing Hair Cream by Ambika Pillai or Cantu Shea Butter Moisturizing Curl Activator Cream. Kaytra product is very cheap and works very well for my hair leaving it moisturized and bouncy. It is one of the best hair products I have used, that too completely made in India. I apply scrunching here.
- Later I do plopping or scrunch in with a T-shirt.
- Gel: I use Schwarzkopf Taft Marathon Power Gel by praying hand method and a very little Jojoba oil and again scrunch it out.
- Then I diffuse or air dry. 🙂
I do not essentially follow the cg method completely as I use silicone products as well . I try to avoid sulphate if I don’t use silicones.
Thank you so much Anjana. Keep blogging :)”
