  • Photodiary – Tabebuia Blooms in Bangalore (Volume 19)

The Tabebuia has started blooming in parts of Bangalore and I went looking for the Pink Tabebuia in Cubbon Park (reminded me of the beautiful Spring last year in April) but I found these beautiful yellow tabebuia instead. What makes this tree more beautiful is the complete lack of leaves – “If one thing sets tabebuia apart from most flowering trees is that the blooms appear after the tree turns completely leafless, making it eminently ornamental and almost reminiscent of a minimalist ikebana arrangement”. These flowers last for a week or so on before falling down and reminds me of the Japanese/Korean Cherry Blossom season which I missed by a few weeks during my last trip to Japan. I hope to capture more of this beauty this year 🙂

For this look I used these products – Washed with WOW Organics Anti Dandruff Shampoo, conditioned with Devacurl One Condition and styled with Cantu Moisturizing Curl Activator Cream and DevaCurl Ultra Defining Gel. Here is a post with my full curly hair care routine and  how I apply the products – My curly hair routine 🙂

Earrings – Jaypore
Bag – Flea Market in Siem Reap, Cambodia
On my lipsLakme 9 to 5 Matte Lip Color, Red Coat The same shade I wore for my wedding 🙂

thank u so much anjana, for what dresses I can wear this neckpiece?

You can wear it with dresses with Indian prints like Kalamkari or Ikat. Or you can even do an Indo-western look by mixing it with western dresses 🙂
