PhotoDiary – Kanchipuram Saree ( Volume 20 )

  • March 6, 2018

I was in Kochi over the weekend for a friend’s wedding and this is what I wore for the function. Managed to click some pics at a nearby temple before heading out. The pond you see behind me is the temple pond. Oh, by the way, Kochi was soooo humid. My curls were flat and open within 2 hours. I read through this amazing article by Lindsay on NaturallyCurly – How to Choose the Right Products for the Weather for Curly Hair . I am going to use these tips the next time I am in Kochi.

At the wedding (bonus pic :P)

Saree – Jayalakshmi Silk, Kochi
Jhimki – My mom’s. She designed this during her younger years. In fact, during those times this was considered too big. Look at the size of jhimkis now haha.
On my Lips – Lakme 9 to 5 matte in Red Coat

I hope you liked the look πŸ™‚

Hi..U r my biggest inspiration when it comes to Curls!! My hair has been my biggest disappointment until this day but I see some hope now after seeing ur beautiful curls and articles on how to style curly hair. I desperately seek help for dry/curly/wavy/frizzy/fine/low porosity hair, living in extremely high humid Chennai weather & just do not know how to style it!! Love ur advice / help with this!

So great to hear that 😍 hope you’ve started with the routine πŸ™‚

I meant that I still need your advise with low porosity hair styling in specific. Any tips?

Avoid heavy creams and leave ins. Make gel your best friend :). You can also check some tips here – Everything You Wanted to Know About Hair Porosity

Thanks Anjana πŸ™‚
