Oriflame Nature Secrets Conditioners: A favourite of most curlies, the Enliven conditioner has been consistently out of stock for some months now. It’s a pain for most of us who were extremely happy with the cheap price of the Enliven conditioners. And a lot of you asked me for an alternative silicone free light conditioner in that price range. Here it is!

Which variety to buy? – Ingredient Analysis

• Glycerin – Humectant
• Stearyl Alcohol – Emollient, Softens Hair
• Cetyl Alcohol – Emollient, Softens Hair
• Brassicamidopropyl Dimethylamine – Cationic Surfactant, they smooth the cuticle and have mild cleansing properties
• Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride – Emollient, Softens Hair

These ingredients are the ones commonly found in conditioners – Ingredients to Look for in a Conditioner
All 3 varieties have exactly the same ingredients as the top 5 ingredients –Read the Ingredients List, Not the Product Claims
The other additives are very small in percentage and can be ignored. So forget about the “Greasy Hair – Nettle & Lemon” or “Dry and Damaged Hair – Wheat & Coconut”. You can buy any of these 3 🙂 It is silicone free and is CG friendly.

Performance
+ Lightweight conditioners which smoothen and soften hair without weighing it down
+ Great for cowashing
+ Good slip. I just realized Enliven’s slip is poor. This ranks better there!
– Would have liked a bit more moisture (Even Enliven’s moisture seems poor now. Why am I finding so many faults with Enliven now? Maybe because I have used much better conditioners now. It was my 1st silicone free conditioner.)

In short: A cheap lightweight conditioner. For those of you who love and miss Enliven and are not able to find a replacement for it, go get this one 🙂
