OGX Moroccan Curling Perfection Defining Cream is one of my first ever curl products. Argan oil is one of my favourite sealing oils and this product was perfect. This product can be called a gel cream because it contains ingredients of a gel and a curling cream. This is also silicone free making it ideal for those following the CG method.
Description by OGX: A moisturizing and lavish cream which instantly penetrates the hair shaft with exotic pure Moroccan argan oil to revive and define curls, smoothing away frizz and fly-a-ways, while creating soft, seductive, silky perfection. This exotic precious blend of Moroccan argan oil renews curls, creating soft frizz-free perfection while protecting your hair from harmful styling heat and UV damage as it gives greater definition, bounce and shine.
- Restores moisture
- Defines curls
- Reduces frizz
- Revives waves and curls to a shiny, bouncy luster
- Never leaves curls crunchy
Price: 725 INR. You can buy it here (India) or here (US).
CG Friendly: Yes
This is how I apply it – How to apply products and scrunch curly hair
I had reviewed the OGX Moroccan Curling Perfection Defining Cream long back on IMBB. And that was the time I had just begun learning about how to care for my curly hair. So you can ignore the part that says it doesn’t work on dry hair haha. Because we know now that products must be applied to wet hair only. You can read the full review here.

Hey…having gone thru ur list of sulphate free styling products….after using sulphate free shampoo and mask/conditioner..will this cream alone be used as styling product…it is silicone free..no drying alcohols..but it has Paraffinum Liquidum (Mineral Oil)…so is this cg friendly..I mean can sulphate free shampoo remove it..and no build up..

Hi Harshi, in some hair types, it can cause build up and make the hair look greasy. You will have to experiment with it yourself 🙂

Hi anjana , is it good for fine hair curls? I have protein sensitive so will it effect my hair ? Do i require to apply gel on top of it ?
Anjana

It doesn’t have protein. I always apply a gel, but you could try it without a gel and see if you like the results.

Hi Anjana,
I have 2B type curls and my hair gets quite frizzy. I am absolutely torn between the OGX Moroccon Curling Perfection Defining Cream and the BBlunt High Defintion Curl Leave in Cream. Which product would you recommend between these two ? I do have slighty thin hair.
Thanks!!

Hi I have 3B curly hair. My hair is dry and dull, even though it has curls, parts of it are frizzy or knotted too much. I used to use OGX argon oil previously, is this better as a leave in?

Hi Naina, For budget options, I always suggest using your rinse out conditioner as a leave in as there are very almost no inexpensive curl creams in India

You mean you want to use a leave in conditioner in the shower to detangle your hair after shampooing?

Preeti, have you used heat tools to straighten your hair? Or done keratin or other treatments at the salon?
