My Favourite Curly Hair Products of 2019; And The Decade :)
I missed doing this last year, but it’s here this year 🙂 A collection post of my favourite hair products and my best curly hair days of the leaving year.

Hi Anjana. Hope you are doing well. Your last post on best of 2019 hair care products is a life saver for people like me. I have been using plum shampoo and requil hair conditioner after I read great reviews on your blog and I must say it was a wise decision. I have two questions for you, which are my concern:
Is a leave in and hair cream one and the same thing/serve the same purpose? I have cantu curl activator cream with me but I use it only on occasions as it takes a lot of time for my hair to dry after using it.
Second, I live in Delhi (ncr). It’s freezing cold this time and my scalp gets too itchy by day 2 of wash day. I have kinky coily curls. If you can please suggest a home remedy or an over the counter product, that will be great. Thank you for going thru my long message.. Love Anjali
Hi Anjali, Most leave ins and curl creams have similar ingredients. Some curl creams have hold providing ingredients that gels have. So it all depends on the brand/formulation.
Itch only in the winters sounds like a case of dry scalp. Try massaging hot oil onto scalp and do scalp massages daily with 2-3 drops of oil.
Hey I have long volouminous but dry damaged hair so I use bumble and bumleb curl cream but not using any gels I think that’s why my curls weighs down after few hours I am going to order a hair gel but so confused which one to do from your favourites. Please tell me which one is the best out of all. Not an issue of budget
How many days a week can we take bath?my hair is dry n flaky. 2c
Flaxseed gel shld be applied even on the day we don’t take hair bath?
Can we do any other hairstyle!
Hi Vandana, I cannot comment on the experience of others. I haven’t faced any issue and thus still recommend them. So I am suggesting readers to make a personal informed choice themselves.

I’ve seen a conditioner from UK on nykaa called Superdrug extracts conditioner, which seems so much like enliven, both in terms of quantity and price and even has a lot of flavours/scents. If you get to try it sometime, I’d love to know what you think about it. 🙂

I am a stay at home mom of one year old and mostly will do buns only..

Last 2,3 days I was researching on your blog and thought will try something different.. I have almost finalised my cart.. could you pls help me to take a last step.. here goes my cart..

I tried the Re’equil Murumuru Conditioner based off your recommendation. It’s working like a charm so far.
I was hoping to get your input on something else. I am having trouble choosing a decent hard water filter for home. Most of the ones I’ve looked at don’t actually seem to work. Do you have any suggestions?
This is an awesome post, thank you Anjana. I have shoulder length thick wavy and dry hair. How often do you recommend the above shampoo and conditioner use? Currently am on a daily schedule, and my hair is getting rougher as it’s gaining length.

Hi Sneha, The routine and products will not change your natural pattern. But it will bring out your true pattern which may well be curlier/wavier and you don’t know about it yet.

Diffuser helps with volume as the curls are not weighed down by the weight of water while drying for hours.
