favourite beauty products

Today I have come up with a new post type that lists my favourite beauty products. “Favourite Five” are my top 5 favourite beauty products from the ones I currently use. I have also included mini reviews under each to let you know how well they work 🙂

Jason Naturally fresh unscented deodorant stick

Favourite Five - Jason Naturally fresh unscented deodorant stick

This deo has no harsh alcohols. It controls sweat using ingredients like corn starch and baking soda. Being unscented, it is perfect for sensitive skin and also perfect post waxing or shaving. It is not a heavy duty deo so don’t expect wonders on a sweaty sunny day; But it works really well on a regular day 🙂

Price – £4.99

Lakme Absolute Gel Stylist in Coral Red

Lakme Absolute Gel Stylist Coral Red

This gel nail polish from Lakme gives a perfect glossy solid coating. The colour Coral Red is a pinkish orange shade that I adore being a coral adorer 😛 I have worn it here.

Price – INR 300. You can buy it here.

Original source shower gel – Lemon & tea tree

Original source shower gel Lemon tea tree

I love Original source’s packaging. The oblique bottle and bold font make it very chic. “10 real zest Lemons are packed into (this)” – those words make up for a refreshing shower already! A refreshing non-artificial citrusy burst awakens you in the shower. It lathers well and doesn’t leave any residue. My bottle’s almost over – a perfect end to the bright summer.

Price – INR 225. You can buy it here.

L’Oreal Gelmatic Super Liner in Blue Force

L'Oreal Gelmatic Super Liner Blue Force

I love L’Oreal’s gel eyeliners (the ones in the glass tubs). Though this pen version doesn’t deliver the creaminess of the original one, it is a good buy at the price. The color is a beautiful sparkly sapphire blue. It is quite smudge free and is definitely water proof.

Price – INR 450. You can buy it here.

The Body Shop Honeymania Body Butter

The Body Shop Honeymania Body Butter

I am not a big fan of body moisturisers. I bought the body shop honeymania body butter solely because there was a sale on 😛 and the smell is to die for. I just adooooore the fragrance. It is a beautiful creamy flowery smell and I wish the perfumes from this range were also available in India. The butter is well very buttery and perfect for winters for the intense hydration that we require.

Price – INR 1000. You can buy it here.

What are your current Favourite Five? 🙂
