My Bridal ensemble – Kerala Hindu / South Indian style

I have finally compiled my bridal ensemble for you all after your requests 🙂 It was a Kerala Hindu Nair wedding. It’s a picture heavy post. I hope you enjoy it!

Tying the knot early in the morning at Guruvayur temple in Thrissur
Traditional Kerala kasavu sari in tissue (golden threads are interweaved throughout the body of the sari and not just the border to impart a shine throughout) – Kalyan saris, Cochin.

Function at Hotel Devaragam
I chose the typical South Indian bride look for this.
Classic kancheevaram red sari – Prakash Silks showroom, Kanchipuram.

I wanted antique temple jewellery in gold to go with the saree and finally managed to collect everything i liked from various jewellers around South India.
