Bounce Curl Cream Conditioner Review

Bounce Curl Cream Conditioner was a purchase from my 1st brick and mortar store experience for curly hair products in Amsterdam. The shop is called Megorgeous.

Description by Bounce Curl : Protein Free. Required moisture. The first ingredient in this amazing conditioner is organic aloe. Yes that is right, there is no water in here! This is a light weigh creamy conditioner that will lightly hydrate your hair. This conditioner will not build up & it will not leave hair feeling heavy.

Ingredient Analysis:

• Aloe Leaf Juice
• Behentrimonium Methosulfate – Cationic surfactant that smoothens the cuticle and helps in detangling
• Cetearyl Alcohol – Emollient, softens hair
• Hybrid Safflower Oil
• Glycerin – Humectant
• Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine – Cationic surfactant that smoothens the cuticle and helps in detangling
• Propanediol – Emollient, softens hair
• Panthenol – Humectant

Ingredients after the first 5 to 8 ingredients are in negligible amounts and can be ignored if you are not trying to avoid any ingredient in particular – Read the Ingredients List, Not the Product Claims

The ingredients list is amazing. It has all the great ingredients expected in a conditioner. It is not oily and yet has some great oils in the list. Aloe juice is the ‘water component’ of the conditioner, as aloe is 99% water. Without water, it would be a very tacky and greasy conditioner. I don’t understand why they wanted to market it as not having water 🙂

CG Friendly: Yes
Texture: Velvety creamy
Smell: It smells a bit weird because of the lack of artificial fragrances and I am ok with that because it lacks artificial fragrances 🙂
