Just to let you know, you have a lot of stuff listed as over $25 that is cheaper than that here. Not that it’s a bad thing, cheap options are great! But more just a factual statement

Hi Sana, it’s the full kit cost that I have mentioned as over 25$, not the individual product itself.

I just wanted to let you know that DevaCurl has been reported to relax users’ hair patterns, cause hair loss, and chemical damage to their hair, and is also facing a class action lawsuit.

Hey ,
I’m Pakistani and just now starting my journey to embrace my 2b curls. They’re medium density and width, high porosity , frizzy waves but they have the potential to be beautiful. I’m gonna follow your coarse 2b directions and see where that goes but I’m nervous about using Shea moisture since a previous product caused a lot of hair loss for me. Let me know if you’d be willing to talk to me a lil bit more about this!

For my curly and wavy hair wigs, I use sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. It has been amazing. I love this blog tho, it’s helpful. Thank you 🙂

Hi Anjana, I recently moved to New Jersey and Shea moisture coconut and hibiscus shampoo and Maui conditioner makes my scalp flaky. Can you suggest me other shampoo and conditioner in US? Requil conditioner suited me while I was in India. Also do you have any recommendations for daily scalp care?

Hello –
Just wondering if you have found a nice gel comparative to the Kinky Curling Custard. The price recently went up to $18 dollars (compared to 11-12) and I am trying to find a good substitute. Thanks for the insight.

Hi Anjana, I recently started the CG method and I think I’ve 3a or 3b type curls. Now that it’s work from home I just stick to shampooing and conditioning or co-wash. As it’s making my hair quite dry, wanted to check if it’s okay to use serum on wet hair after a shower

Hi Poornima, are you following a strict CG method? If so, you may not find CG friendly serums easily. If not, yes you can use a serum on wet hair.

I was using As I am coconut leave in. Then Camille rose coconut leave in became available and what a difference it made for my type 2b-c fine hair. Curls hold lots longer.

Hey Anjana, I’ve been chemically treating my hair for the past 2 years. Since I’ve permanently straightened my hair, I’m afraid to start up with a new product to get back to natural curls that I shouldn’t end up with hair fall. My hair type is more or less 2c/3a. Would you please help me on how to begin with your products and explain about them.

Hi! Do you have an alternate suggestion for Aussie Instant Freeze Sculpting Gel? I think it might be out of production…? It’s not available at any store in the US that I know of.
Thanks in advance! You give me so much hope in learning to love my curls. What you said about our wet curls out of the shower are our real curls hit me. I love them! However, once dry they’ve changed for the worse. I’m so looking forward to figuring out how to have the same curls once dry. Thank you for your website!
