Beausilk was one of the first brands to offer pure silk pillow covers in India and now they have broadened their range. They recently sent me 3 of their bonnets – Beausilk Jumbo Silk Sleepcap, Dual Fabric Silk Sleepcap and Tie Option Bonnet/Sleepcap.

Beausilk Jumbo Silk Sleepcap

Beausilk sent me the Jumbo sleepcap many months prior to sending me the other 2 bonnets and I have been using only this inspite of having a few other bonnets. It is meant to fit in long hair or big afro like hair. But I like to use it even for short hair because I love the loose fitting feel on my hair rather than scrunching my curls tight.  The material is pure mulberry silk and luxuriously soft. The elastic is soft, yet the bonnet stays on my head all night long. It is my absolute favourite bonnet ever!

Beausilk Tie Option Bonnet/Sleepcap

This is an upgraded version of the regular size bonnet. The tying option helps to tighten or loosen the elastic as per your comfort level, head size etc. The material is pure mulberry silk and luxuriously soft. I think they should make this for the Jumbo size too, what say? 🙂

Beausilk Dual Fabric Sleepcap

This is a dual – purpose bonnet. The microfibre side can be used to plop wet hair. It is also great for people like me who wash their hair at night and go to sleep with wet hair. The silk side can be used to preserve dry curls like a regular bonnet.

They also sent me their Silk Over-Size Scrunchies and Silk Slim Scrunchies. Silk scrunchies are valuable for us curlies as they don’t tug on our hair and cause breakage. You can buy them here and here.
