Mykonos is known for it’s parties and night life, but being the exact opposite of what you’d call party-animals, we can vouch for the real beauty that Mykonos has to offer!
Stay – We stayed at Christina Studios which was smack in the middle of town and a perfect location to explore the town.
Transporation – There are KTEL buses plying frequently between the town and New port (where the ferry arrives), airport and the beaches.
1) Walk through the beautiful town; it’s nooks and crannies
2) Fall in love with the cutest, most beautiful churches
There are more than 300 churches dotting the island; each family has one. Say “beautiful churches” and big churches come into mind but the tiny quaint churches of Mykonos are the prettiest churches I’ve ever seen!
Agía Kyriakí Church
Eglise Catholique
Other churches
3) Visit the many beaches
Megali Ammos
If a quiet beach is what you like, look no further than Megali Ammos, right next to the Mykonos town centre.
Paradise Beach
This was a very crowded tourist beach so we didn’t step into the beach. Beautiful Nevertheless.
4) Visit the Windmills of Kato Mili and Little Venice
5) Bonus : FOOD
We also had lip smacking Gyros at Sakis and Leonidas.
